Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Yes, I went to the mid-night showing, for that is the only showing befitting to a girl with Pirates of the Caribbean tattoos!

This movie was not as great as it's three predecessors, but it is still a compelling movie. I, however miss Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan and the chemistry they had with Jack Sparrow. The movie is not quite the same with out the bantering of the three.

I am not sure if this movie will be followed by another, but I did also did not stay to watch the scene at the end of the credits. My movie going mates where rather tired and had to be up early and refused to stay through the credits.

This is not a bad movie and it was quite humorous so stop by your local theater, it is a good summer feature.

The Saga of Larten Crepsley: Ocean of Blood by: Darren Shan

Though this series is not as compelling as Shan's Cirque Du Freak series it is a much better read then his Demonata series.

This is the second book in the series that follows Larten Crepsley (Darren Shan's maker in the Cirque Du Freak series, not to be confused with the author by the same name.)

As with Shan's other books this series is geared more to young adults but can be a good read for older ages as well, or even as a family story night read.

If you have a young reader who isn't quite drawn to books, this book series may change that. Most youngsters I have found who are normally reluctant to read love all Shan's books.

Naturally Thin (Unleash Your Skinny Girl and Free Yourself from a Lifetime of Dieting) Bethenny Frankel

I love, love, loved this book!! It is the perfect coach for girls who are only slightly over weight and looking to slim down. Bethenny's ten rules teach you how to use food correctly so that you can lose weight and eat what you want!

It isn't a diet, it is a lifestyle. Thinking like a skinny girl isn't hard and actually makes sense. I recommend this book to EVERYONE who is trying to create a healthier lifestyle.

This book isn't a quick fix for your problems but a permanent solution. Everyone should eat like a skinny girl!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 1

It has been awhile since I read the book so I don't know how close this movie follows the book but I do know one thing....This movie was boring!

I felt like the whole movie was spent watching Harry and Hermione walk through the woods. There was some action in the beginning but after about the first 30 minutes it went down hill. The ending wasn't bad either (sad but not boring) I'd bring a box of tissues when you watch this movie if you are prone to tears.

In summary the middle of The Deathly Hallows lags and this movie isn't to par with the rest of the series but they have one more movie to redeem themselves, lets hope they deliver.
