The Tourist

I expected more from this movie. Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp are both notorious for being in movies that deliver a punch and I expected some excitement in a movie that contained both of these actors.

The Tourist had very little action. A minor explosion, a little boat wreck but nothing with flare or excitement. I was not on the edge of my seat and my movie companion left 30 minutes into the movie, becasue it was "boring." I tend to agree.

There was no hot sex scene that was rumored to have made the mother of Depp's children jealous, in fact there was nothing more than an innocent kiss

I wouldn't even call it a comedy, it really wasn't that funny.

I don't recommend this movie. It does not deliver any of things one would expect from it.

Dear Readers,
I know it has been awhile since my last post. I have not been reading or watching movies much this past few months. 19 credit hours and 30-35 hours a week at my job left me little time for the pleasures of life, but now that school is coming to an end I am back to deliver you with all the movie and book news I can.

This summer promises to be an epic one. You can look forward to:
Fast and the Furious Five: Fast cars, hot men, and sexy women, what's not to look forward too?

Pirates of the Caribbean Four: Jack Sparrow, the attractive pirate

Thor: Who doesn't love a sexy and powerful Norse God?

(I sense a trend here)

All these movies offer something for both the man of the house (explosions, cars, ships, action) and the woman of the house (hot men, cars, romance).

So don't miss these summer blockbusters!
